Information Technology Officer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support to resort employees and departments.
• Support hotel systems, applications, computers, printers, telephones, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, printer, POS, and user access issues.
• Assist guests with internet access, in-room connectivity, and basic technology enquiries.
• Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and equipment return to service.
• Install and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, telephones, POS terminals, and related equipment.
• Perform daily checks of systems, equipment, connectivity, and IT work areas.
• Support backups, data protection, emergency processes, and system security procedures.
• Maintain hardware inventories, software records, licenses, contracts, support logs, and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and support IT needs for meetings, events, office setups, and operations.
• Keep IT areas and equipment inventories clean, organised, and secure.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous IT support, helpdesk, technical support, or hospitality IT experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, printers, telephones, Wi-Fi, and user support is required.
• Hotel or resort experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Opera, POS, key card, telephone, CCTV, or related hotel platforms is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, email setup, and basic troubleshooting is required.
• Good spoken and written English is required.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and willingness to learn are required.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements is required.

Work Environment

• The role supports technology operations across a resort property, including guest rooms, offices, operational areas, and IT workspaces.
