About the Role

Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures
- Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained per latest revisions of approved technical publications
- Ensure personal approvals/licences are valid and applicable to aircraft types
- Handle off aircraft tasks such as spares handling, robberies, hold items in compliance with procedures
- Carry out component changes as part of troubleshooting or as directed
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety rules and regulations
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues to ensure seamless flow of information
- Manage performance of staff using performance review process
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements
- Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation, including diversionary airfields for AOG recovery
Requirements
- Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience with 5+ years as certifying staff (TE.03) or 8 years with 2+ years as certifying staff (TE.02)
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777)
- Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters relating to aircraft operation and maintenance

Job Purpose

- Emirates Engineering is a cutting edge aircraft maintenance facility, GCAA CAR V approved, supporting Emirates’ vast Airbus and Boeing fleet and thirty other airlines through third party contracts.
- As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in Line Maintenance Support, you will carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures.
In This Role, You Will
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
- Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications.
- Ensure all off aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled in compliance with company procedures.
- Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Ensure that all activities performed are carried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers.
- Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system.
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.
- Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation, including diversionary airfields to assist in recovery process of an AOG.
Qualifications
