About the Role
Emirates Engineering seeks a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to perform routine maintenance and defect rectification on Airbus and Boeing aircraft in Dubai. The role requires a degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering, 8-10 years of experience, and multiple aircraft type approvals including A380, A350, or B777.

Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures
- Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained per latest revisions of approved technical publications
- Perform component changes as part of troubleshooting process or as directed by supervisor
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety rules and company procedures
- Manage performance of staff using performance review process and system
- Attend training/recurrent modules to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements
- Be available for deployment anywhere within EK operation, including diversionary airfields for AOG recovery
Requirements
- Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience with 5+ years as certifying staff (TE.03) or 8 years with 2+ years as certifying staff (TE.02)
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777)
- Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters related to aircraft operation and maintenance

Job Purpose
- Emirates Engineering is a GCAA CAR V approved aircraft maintenance facility supporting Emirates' Airbus and Boeing fleet and third party contracts.
- As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in Dubai, you will carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft per company and regulatory procedures.
In This Role, You Will
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
- Ensure all off aircraft tasks (spares handling, robberies, hold items) are handled per company procedures.
- Carry out component changes as necessary as part of troubleshooting process or as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety rules and regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers.
- Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system.
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.
- Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation, including diversionary airfields for AOG recovery.
- Ensure prompt attendance to all allocated aircraft arrival/departures to avoid operational delays.
Qualifications
- Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff (TE.03) or 8 years with 2+ years as certifying staff (TE.02).
