About the Role
Emirates is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer for Base Maintenance to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on Airbus A380, A350, and Boeing 777 aircraft.

- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures
- Ensure assigned zones/aircraft are maintained per latest revisions of approved technical publications
- Perform component changes as part of troubleshooting process
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety rules and company procedures
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues and managers
- Manage performance of staff using performance review process
Requirements
- Degree/Honors in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777)
- Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters

Job Purpose
- At Base Maintenance, our expert engineers deliver service for all aircraft checks, from inspections to major system repairs. We handle cabin retrofits, aircraft deliveries, and inspection programs for Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777.
- To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and regulatory procedures.
In This Role You Will
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
- Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approved technical publications.
- Ensure all off aircraft tasks are handled in compliance with company procedures.
- Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task.
- Carry out component changes as necessary as part of troubleshooting process.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers.
- Manage the performance of staff using performance review process.
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145.
Qualification
- Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
- Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff.
- Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals with at least one of the Emirates aircraft types (A380, A350, or B777).
- Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA license eligible for conversion.
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters.
