Reporting to the User Services Coordinator, Library Casual Staff are members of the Reg Erhardt Library’s User Services Team, focused on providing frontline library and information services to students, staff, faculty and visitors to SAIT, consistent with the Library’s policies.
The ideal candidate can make decisions independently, balancing operational needs with patron-focused service.
They are also comfortable working in a public space serving a diverse community of library users, during evening and weekend hours when they may have limited support from specialist library staff or other departments.
