- Receive and manage cases, complaints, and observations submitted via the Legislative Audit Directorate hotline
- Actively monitor media reports and conduct fact finding to ensure proper implementation of legislation

Responsibilities
- Review, study, and analyse the legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai in order to identify legislative gaps and determine provisions requiring the issuance of implementing instruments to ensure proper enforcement.
- Prepare legislative audit reports on the extent to which government entities and local authorities within the Emirate have correctly applied the relevant legislation.
- Monitor and determine the levels of legislative compliance by the Dubai Government entities and local authorities at the end of each year, based on the legislative audit reports.
- Review applicable legislation in the Emirate and prepare reports supporting their development to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including proposals for amendment or repeal where required.
- Study and analyse reports received from the SLC General Secretariat’s strategic partners, particularly regulatory bodies, concerning legislative violations committed by government and local entities in the Emirate, and prepare the relevant legal correspondence.
- Receive and manage cases, complaints, and observations submitted via the Legislative Audit Directorate hotline concerning legislative violations committed by government entities, and cases of improper implementation of the legislation in force in the Emirate; prepare the relevant legal correspondenc
- Actively monitor media reports and conduct thorough fact finding to ensure that government entities in the Emirate properly implement the legislation in force.
