A confidential family office in Dubai seeks an experienced Legal Manager to establish and lead the legal function. The role oversees corporate governance, legal compliance, contracts, transactions, and risk management across investments and personal assets.

- Set up and manage the legal function, policies, procedures, and governance framework.
- Act as Corporate Secretary and coordinate Foundation Council meetings and governance activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, shareholder agreements, resolutions, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.
- Support investments, M&A, real estate, and cross border transactions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, employment, data protection, and AML/KYC requirements.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical business focused solutions.
- Support succession planning, estate planning, and family wealth structures.
- Manage legal matters relating to personal assets, foundations, and philanthropic activities.
- Oversee and coordinate external legal counsel across jurisdictions.
- Serve as the primary legal contact for banks, regulators, and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- LLB, LLM, or equivalent legal qualification
- 7+ years of post qualification legal experience
- Strong background in corporate/commercial law and corporate governance
- Experience in M&A, investments, and cross border transactions
- Prior experience within a family office, investment company, private equity, or similar environment (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with trusts, estate planning, real estate, and regulatory compliance (advantageous)
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management skills
- Arabic and English fluency required

Role Summary

Salary
- Salary package: AED 40,000 plus benefits
