Support compliance, contracts, governance, regulatory risk management, disputes, and technology-enabled legal transformation.
Job Description
- Advise the General Counsel, senior management, and staff on legal and regulatory matters.
- Lead Legal Department transformation through AI, automation, and technology solutions.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and approve agreements, marketing materials, advertising, promotional materials, and other legal documents.
- Develop and oversee customer agreement, terms of service, risk disclosure, and client-facing documentation policies.
- Manage regulatory filings, licensing requirements, submissions, and relationships with regulators.
- Develop legal risk management policies and procedures supporting compliance and governance.
- Conduct legal research and communicate regulatory changes and business impact.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution and collaborate with external counsel.
- Deliver legal training and collaborate with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- LLB degree in law is required; LLM or equivalent legal qualifications are preferred.
- Licensed to practise law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- At least 3–4 years of senior in-house legal experience.
- Experience across corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, commercial law, and corporate governance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
- Experience managing legal risk, leading projects, and advising non-legal stakeholders.
- Expertise reviewing marketing and promotional materials for legal compliance.
- Ability to manage complex litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory interactions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to drive legal transformation through technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
