Role overview

Legal responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, draft, and advise on supplier and business partnership contracts.
• Handle commercial disputes and litigation.
• Advise on marketing, promotions, CAP Code compliance, packaging, and promotional terms.
• Support ecommerce legal matters involving digital marketing and website operations.
• Advise on wholesale contracts, concession agreements, and intellectual property licensing.
• Support customer complaints, disputes, and small claims.
• Assist with M&A due diligence, SPA and APA drafting, ancillary documents, and post-completion work.
• Liaise with the ICO, ASA, Trading Standards, and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage external lawyers and supervise junior legal team members.

Requirements

• Strong commercial contract negotiation experience.
• Minimum three years of post-qualification experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to provide commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice.
• Collaborative approach and ambition to develop within a global PLC.

Workplace

• Based five days a week at the Shirebrook headquarters.
