Provide specialized legal advice, opinions, analysis, and recommendations across various sectors.
Contribute to policies, strategies, work methodologies, and legislative controls.
Provide expert technical advice to management and relevant organizational units.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal opinions, advice, and recommendations on matters referred to the department.
- Prepare legal statements and responses for inquiries and referred matters for final approval.
- Monitor and analyze relevant legislation and international laws related to legal consultancy.
- Develop legal consultancy policies, plans, strategies, and institutional recommendations.
- Analyze studies, data, surveys, and opinion polls and prepare relevant reports.
- Review Ministry reports and provide expert legal opinions.
- Assess economic developments and their potential impact on production, investment, and economic factors.
- Forecast budgetary changes, support long-term planning, and evaluate investment considerations.
- Identify organizational priorities and develop supporting plans and programs.
- Develop research plans supporting strategic objectives.
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency through new techniques and methodologies.
- Develop operational policies, procedures, legislative controls, and quality requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Law requires at least 12 years of relevant experience.
- A master's degree in Law requires at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- A PhD in Law requires at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Professional Certifications and Competencies
- Commercial and Business Law certification is relevant to the role.
- Legal Compliance course or certification is relevant to the role.
- Key competencies include legal advisory, legal research, legislative analysis, policy development, and strategic planning.
- Additional competencies include report writing, economic and investment analysis, risk assessment, research and data analysis, and stakeholder advisory.
