Role overview
Epiq is seeking a Legal Associate to support complex global legal outcomes.
The role focuses on client-directed document review and research into technical and industry-specific issues.
Essential responsibilities
- Review documents for relevance, privilege, and other issues as directed by clients.
- Assist with research on technical and industry-specific issues.
Qualifications and characteristics
- Strong written and oral communication skills and strong English reading comprehension.
- Good judgment and willingness to assume responsibility for decisions.
- Ability to work as a team member, accept feedback, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Knowledge of the document review and e-discovery or litigation industry.
- Knowledge of Relativity, Xerox, and/or DocuMatrix litigation management software.
- Industry-specific subject matter knowledge or understanding.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the U.S. judicial system and legal fundamentals, methods, and procedures from a U.S. perspective.
- LLB from a three-year or five-year program.
- LLM from India or abroad is optional.
