- Lead, train, and manage the leasing team to meet or exceed leasing and occupancy targets.
- Oversee the entire leasing process: prospect inquiries, property tours, application processing, lease signing, and move in coordination.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and rental rates to recommend pricing adjustments.
- Track and report leasing metrics to ownership/management.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all applicable regulations.
- Manage lease renewals and develop retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Resolve tenant/resident concerns and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure units are rent ready.
- Prepare and manage the leasing budget, including marketing spend.
- Conduct regular audits of lease files for accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in leasing or property management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations
- Proficiency with CRM System
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary
- The Leasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all leasing activities for a residential or commercial property, driving occupancy goals, managing the leasing team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for prospective and current residents/tenants.
- This role combines sales leadership, marketing execution, and team management to maximize property performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and manage the leasing team to meet or exceed leasing and occupancy targets
- Oversee the entire leasing process: prospect inquiries, property tours, application processing, lease signing, and move in coordination
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective tenants (digital ads, listing sites, social media, referral programs)
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and rental rates to recommend pricing adjustments
- Track and report leasing metrics (traffic, conversion rates, occupancy rates, renewal rates) to ownership/management
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage lease renewals and develop retention strategies to reduce turnover
- Resolve tenant/resident concerns and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain accurate records in CRM system.

Qualifications
