Key skills for this role
Experience in lease administration within a retail property environment, with the ability to manage the end-to-end pre lease process independently
Strong understanding of retail leasing, commercial agreements and legal documentation
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Confident communicator who can build effective relationships with leasing teams, legal stakeholders, centre management, tenants and external solicitors
Proficient in Microsoft Office and lease management systems such as MRI, Vault, Vision or similar platforms
Maintain accurate lease records, critical dates and document management within our internal system
Work closely with Leasing, Asset Management, Legal and Finance teams to ensure commercial terms are correctly documented
Liaise with tenants, solicitors and leasing agents to keep transactions progressing smoothly and on schedule
Review commercial terms including rent, incentives, guarantees and licence fees, identifying and escalating any discrepancies
Ensure all lease documentation is accurate, compliant and audit-ready
Prepare complete handover packs and final documentation once leasing transactions are completed
