About the Role
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs. The role involves assisting with learning, social integration, and maintaining accurate records, requiring a degree in Education, Psychology, or Special Education.

Responsibilities
- Support the student's learning, in and out of the classroom, including breaktimes and after school activities as needed
- Provide 1:1 support to access curriculum and school environment
- Be familiar with the student's IEP and its objectives
- Liaise with teachers, key workers, and other professionals as required
- Help the student develop independence, communication skills, and confidence
- Identify barriers to learning and support access to the curriculum
- Support reading, written work, and completion of set tasks
- Assist with social integration, group work, and wider school life
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reports and review meetings
- Comply with all relevant policies, including Child Protection, Health & Safety, and Confidentiality
Requirements
- Degree level education in Education, Psychology, Special Education or related field
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Valid UAE Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Discretion and confidentiality essential
