Main Purpose of the Job

  • To support and guide the development of employee competence through the facilitation and evaluation of various learning and development programmes

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Identify and assess the learning and development needs of employees
  • Develop learning and development interventions that effectively address learning needs
  • Deliver planned learning and development activities
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of learning and development interventions
  • Document and report the outcome of learning and development interventions

Experience

  • Essential: At least 3 4 years’ experience in facilitation of learning and development or training in a formal setting, at least 1 year of which involved team leading responsibilities
  • Desired: At least 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment
  • Desired: At least 1 years’ experience in using an electronic health record system

Education

  • Essential: A relevant Bachelor’s degree or diploma
  • Desired: Certification in Training and Development or related studies

Required Job Skills and Knowledge

  • Instructional Design (ADDIE model) and its application
  • Evaluation of learning effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model
  • Learning styles and adult learning principles
  • English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Computer literacy: MS Office applications
  • E learning content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Moodle, etc.)
  • Video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premier Pro)
  • Learning support material development, including training manuals
  • Knowledge of hospital and/or clinic operations
