Role Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director, the Learning Services Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of Brock's academic support services. The Learning Services Operations Coordinator oversees operational processes that support tutoring, peer learning initiatives, academic integrity programming, non-credit learning opportunities, and other student success programs.
The successful candidate will coordinate departmental operations, support financial management and resource planning, lead data collection and reporting activities, and develop communications strategies to promote student engagement. The role also provides support to student staff and serves as a key resource in ensuring Learning Services programs operate efficiently and effectively.
T he Learning Services Operations Coordinator will:
Coordinate the scheduling, logistics , and operational resources required for the successful delivery of Learning Services programs and services.
Manage operational systems supporting registrations, appointments, program administration, and service delivery.
Coordinate campus space bookings and resource allocation for workshops, events, and learning support initiatives.
Support the day-to-day operations of Learning Services to ensure an efficient, student-centered experience.
Monitor budgets, expenditures, revenues, and financial records, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
Process payments, reconcile revenues, support payroll activities, and assist with financial reporting and resource planning.
Lead the collection, organization, and analysis of program participation, engagement, and outcomes data.
Prepare reports and provide data-informed insights to support program evaluation, strategic planning, and decision-making.
Maintain data management processes and support continuous improvement of reporting standards and assessment practices.
Develop and implement marketing, communications, and outreach initiatives to increase awareness and participation in Learning Services programs.
Coordinate digital and print communications, ensuring content is accurate , accessible, and aligned with institutional branding standards.
Collaborate with campus partners and stakeholders to promote services, support student success initiatives, and strengthen cross-campus engagement.
Assist with the planning and delivery of departmental projects, events, and initiatives while fostering effective team collaboration.
Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational effectiveness, service quality, and the overall student experience.

Key S kills and Experience
Undergraduate Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience .
1-2 years' experience in business , project management, human resources, education
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data to support decision-making.
Strong financial administration and record-keeping skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred or Asset Skill s
- Experience working in student affairs, student services, or academic support environments.
- Knowledge of university administrative systems, ticketing platforms, point-of-sale systems, or database management.
- Familiarity with marketing, communications, and student engagement strategies.
Salary
- and Total Rewards:
- Job Grade J , Salary Scale ( $ 57,267-$91,627 );
- Target Hiring Range: $57,267-$62,424 .
- T his is a permanent position that includes :

- Vacation: Up to 3 weeks per year, in addition to university holidays.
