Role overview
Lead learning and development for hotel team members during a renovation and relaunch.
Support engagement, service standards, operational readiness, and the successful reopening of renovated areas.
Training and development
- Design, plan, and deliver hotel training programs aligned with corporate goals and industry standards.
- Identify new skills, service behaviors, operational knowledge, and training requirements with hotel leaders.
- Embed new service standards through continuous coaching, refresher training, observation, and follow-up.
Renovation and relaunch readiness
- Coordinate learning initiatives throughout the hotel renovation to keep team members informed, engaged, and prepared.
- Execute reopening plans that include service simulations, departmental training, product knowledge, and guest journey training.
- Translate the renovated property’s vision into the skills, behaviors, and service culture guests will experience.
Performance and records
- Review performance trends with managers, trainers, and team members and develop action plans.
- Assess training initiatives and recommend improvements for department needs.
