Job Summary
The Leader, Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice provides strategic leadership and subject matter expertise within Mental Health and Substance Use Services.
The role advances Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice across Fraser Health and its contracted and external partners.
The position oversees implementation, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, and long-term sustainability of related initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, prioritize, and oversee Trauma and Resiliency Informed Practice initiatives across the organization.
- Establish project charters, objectives, timelines, critical paths, and resources, and resolve issues affecting delivery.
- Provide consultation, education, and knowledge translation support to advance evidence-informed practice and health service delivery.
- Lead partner collaboration, resource coordination, progress monitoring, accountabilities, and budget oversight.
- Develop partnerships with community, government, educational, health, and other related agencies.
- Manage agreements with external partners in collaboration with Fraser Health Legal Services.
- Develop research and knowledge translation partnerships to address knowledge gaps.
- Represent the program on committees and advisory groups and support aligned web and social media content.
- Develop funding proposals and contracts, monitor consultants, and oversee reporting for funded projects.
- Synthesize literature and projects related to trauma, workplace wellness, safety, stigma, equity, implementation science, and evaluation.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in a health or social science field is required, with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted.
- A minimum of 10 years of recent, related leadership or management experience is required.
- The role requires complex organizational change leadership in a health care environment.
- Advanced knowledge of trauma-informed practices, stigma, health impacts, equity, resiliency, and adaptation strategies is required.
- Experience with research synthesis, proposal development, agreements, grants, budgets, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation is required.
- The position requires the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops, collaborate across sectors, and work independently.
