Job Summary
This is a full-time Financial Analyst role on the Financial Planning and Business Support team.
The position provides financial analysis, business advisory services, budgeting, costing, reporting, and business insight for healthcare clients and projects.
The role is based at the Central City office in Surrey, British Columbia.
Detailed Overview and Responsibilities
- Provide financial and business advisory services to assigned clients and projects.
- Review financial, statistical, and costing information and assess operational performance against budgets and best practices.
- Support operating and capital budget preparation and analyze the costing of new programs and program changes.
- Prepare financial variance and activity-measure analyses for administration and board reporting packages.
- Provide advice, interpretation, education, orientation, and resource support on budgeting and responsibility reporting.
- Assist with external grant allocations, payment documentation, and reconciliations for healthcare service providers.
- Advise managers and finance personnel on financial matters and recommend physician sessional payment allocations.
