Position and Role
Engineering Team Lead for the ActivePipe Platform in Pune, India.
Lead a small engineering team building the ActivePipe Ruby on Rails service, PHP integrations, and Kafka-driven ETL pipelines.
The platform ingests millions of MLS, contact, and identity records each day.
The role sets technical direction while remaining hands-on with code, design reviews, and high-leverage system work.
Location
- This is an in-office role based in Pune, India.
- The role collaborates with colleagues across the United States and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Own architecture and technical direction for the ActivePipe platform, ETL pipelines, and PHP integration services.
- Drive RFCs and design reviews for Kafka topology, ETL idempotency, GraphQL evolution, and data contracts.
- Contribute code, review complex pull requests, and debug production incidents for approximately 30–40% of the role.
- Set standards for RSpec coverage, Rubocop, Datadog observability, Buildkite deployment hygiene, and on-call quality.
- Coach engineers, run interview loops, and support onboarding.
