Role overview
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and microservices on Azure.
Drive delivery from design through release while improving API quality and performance.
Work closely with Agile/Scrum teammates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices.
- Own features from idea through production rollout.
- Participate in analysis, design, testing, and release activities.
- Write clean, reusable code and perform code reviews.
- Troubleshoot backend and frontend issues across environments.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Optimize API latency and database query performance.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall software development experience.
- 8+ years of professional full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
- Hands-on Java and Spring Framework experience.
- Knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.1.2, Spring Framework 6.0.7, Hibernate, RESTful API design, and modular frontend architecture.
