Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user journeys for Open Finance products, including consent flows, account aggregation, payment initiation, and data sharing.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms.
- Translate financial and regulatory requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Design experiences for banks, fintechs, TPPs, corporates, and developer stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Hands-on experience designing Open Banking, Open Finance, or API-driven platforms.
- A portfolio showcasing complex workflows, data-heavy dashboards, and consent-based journeys.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or a similar design tool.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience with Open Finance APIs, developer portals, or partner ecosystems.
- Knowledge of payments, corporate banking, treasury, or financial data products.
- Familiarity with UAE or GCC financial regulations or global Open Banking standards.
Open Finance and Regulatory Alignment
- Design compliant UX aligned with Open Finance and Open Banking standards, consent models, and data privacy requirements.
- Align UX with UAE Open Finance frameworks, DIFC requirements, and GDPR-style consent principles.
- Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure transparent consent and clear data usage.
Collaboration and Validation
- Work with product owners, engineering teams, API architects, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external partners and fintechs across integrated platforms.
- Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and usability testing.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to improve journeys and adoption.
- Maintain design systems and UI libraries aligned with brand and platform standards.
- Ensure consistency across Open Finance touchpoints and products.
