Role Overview
Lead Camunda 8 architecture and enterprise migrations from legacy BPM systems across multiple complexity tiers.
Partner with teams and vendors on process modeling, security models, integrations, and parallel-run cutovers.
Responsibilities
- Own the target Camunda 8 solution architecture aligned to the Logical Data Model and ABAC/PBAC access control model.
- Set Camunda engineering standards, quality metrics, and best practices across the Development POD.
- Lead migration delivery across AI-assisted generation, draft-plus-manual redesign, and full REST-based redesign.
- Create and validate process parallel-run and cutover strategies, including routing, shared integration layers, and decommission triggers.
- Coordinate application-layer and platform-layer design with the third-party Camunda platform and infrastructure vendor.
- Confirm Integration Layer connectivity to existing REST APIs with the API team.
- Lead migration of process definitions, DMN tables, forms, business dictionaries, and lookup tables.
- Resolve cross-team dependencies among the Development POD, Solution Architecture, and Service Store.
- Assist UAT technical validation and defect resolution, and contribute to runbooks and knowledge transfer.
- Support backlog sizing and complexity assessment based on process steps, integrations, rules, and data models.
