Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all inspection activities related to materials, components, and workmanship
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved documents
- Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation
- Identify and escalate defects, non conformities, and deviations from quality standards
- Oversee implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance
- Lead site inspections, audits, and client inspections
- Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and safety requirements
- Lead and manage QC Inspectors and QA/QC personnel
- Drive continuous improvement in quality control processes and inspection practices
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Welding, or relevant field)
- Certification in Quality Control (CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent) – preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Minimum 6–8 years in quality control / inspection
- Minimum 2+ years in supervisory or lead role
- Experience in marine, construction, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
- Familiarity with inspection tools and testing methods
- Knowledge of QHSE standards and safety procedures

Job Purpose
- To lead and oversee all quality control activities across Divetech projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards (ASME, AWS, NACE/SSPC), and QHSE requirements, while managing inspection teams and ensuring effective implementation of quality systems and procedures
About the Maritime Cluster
- AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster is led by Noatum Maritime, with a fleet of over 250 vessels and decades of expertise.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all inspection activities related to materials, components, and workmanship.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved documents.
- Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
- Identify and escalate defects, non conformities, and deviations from quality standards.
- Oversee implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and record management of all quality activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.
- Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
- Lead site inspections, audits, and client inspections.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and safety requirements.
People Management Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QC Inspectors and QA/QC personnel.
- Allocate inspection activities based on project priorities.
- Provide guidance, supervision, and performance support to the team.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement in quality control processes and inspection practices.
- Support audit readiness and compliance across projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Welding, or relevant field).
- Certification in Quality Control (CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent) – preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Arabic is an added advantage.
- Minimum 6–8 years in quality control / inspection.
- Minimum 2+ years in supervisory or lead role.
