EPAM is seeking a Lead Python Automation Test Engineer with AI expertise.
The role designs scalable automation solutions, drives quality engineering practices, and uses Generative AI and Agentic AI to accelerate testing and delivery.
The position requires technical leadership, framework architecture expertise, and experience with enterprise-wide automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python test automation frameworks.
- Build automation solutions with PyTest, Behave, Robot Framework, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Lead scalable, maintainable, and reusable framework architecture decisions.
- Implement parallel test execution across browsers and platforms.
- Develop reusable libraries, utilities, and framework extensions.
- Design API automation for REST and SOAP services and validate XML and JSON payloads.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce clean coding standards.
- Integrate automation suites with Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Define test strategies, automation roadmaps, and quality metrics.
- Mentor team members and lead technical discussions on automation excellence.
