Job Summary

To manage and execute IT projects specific to utility solutions, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and meet operational needs.

The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to specified quality standards, while facilitating cross-functional collaboration and compliance with industry regulations.

General Responsibilities

  • **Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems**
  • Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
  • **Reporting**
  • Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business policies and standards.
  • Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.
  • Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.

Job Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans for utility IT solutions, detailing timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of utility projects, meeting predefined specifications and standards.
  • Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to align project objectives and technology integration for utility services.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to senior management on progress, risks, and potential delays.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards specific to utility operations within IT projects.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, conducting post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of deployed utility solutions.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle to ensure uninterrupted utility services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • 6 years of relevant working experience
