- Own CargoX's relationships with UAE transport and government authorities
- Secure permits, licenses, and approvals for testing and operating autonomous fleet
- Engage on policy and regulation to help shape practical frameworks for autonomous vehicles
- Track regulatory developments across emirates and translate into business implications
- Build and manage approvals process for pilots and new route launches
- Protect CargoX's license to operate by meeting operating conditions and reporting obligations
- Represent CargoX at government forums, innovation events, and high level stakeholder engagements
- Partner internally with legal, operations, product, and leadership to align commercial roadmap
- Build the government relations playbook as CargoX expands to new emirates and markets
Requirements
- 6+ years in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or policy
- Established relationships with UAE government and transport authorities strongly preferred
- Strong grasp of UAE regulatory landscape
- Track record of securing permits, licenses, or approvals in a regulated environment
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Diplomacy and executive presence to engage senior government stakeholders

About the Role
- CargoX is putting autonomous delivery vehicles on UAE roads and needs a Lead Government Relations to own relationships with authorities.
- You'll be CargoX's face with transport and mobility authorities across the emirates, securing permits and approvals.
- Help shape autonomous vehicle rules that are still being written.
What You'll Do
- Own CargoX's relationships with UAE transport and government authorities.

- Track regulatory developments across emirates and translate into business implications.
- Build and manage approvals process for pilots and new route launches.
- Protect CargoX's license to operate by meeting operating conditions and reporting obligations.
- Represent CargoX at government forums, innovation events, and high level stakeholder engagements.
- Partner internally with legal, operations, product, and leadership.

What You Need to Be Successful
- 6+ years in government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or policy.
- Established relationships with UAE government and transport authorities strongly preferred.
- Strong grasp of UAE regulatory landscape.
- Track record of securing permits, licenses, or approvals in a regulated environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Diplomacy and executive presence to engage senior government stakeholders.
- Judgment to operate where rules don't fully exist yet.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
