Role Overview
EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Functional Consultant with deep SAP SD and IS Retail expertise.
The role focuses on solution design, project delivery, and continuous improvement across multiple business formats, channels, countries, and models.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into advanced capabilities using standard packages.
- Identify localizations and enhancements supported by clear business cases.
- Create functional requirements for application design and development.
- Propose solutions, configure SAP, and write detailed WRICEF functional specifications.
- Coordinate offshore development teams and ensure alignment with functional requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct unit, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Deliver scalable and integrated business solutions across multiple formats, channels, countries, and business models.
- Support change management with training content and organizational transformation activities.
- Provide third-level functional support, application administration, and troubleshooting across European operating companies.
- Collaborate across applications and modules to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Evaluate work processes and user experiences to promote continuous improvement.
