Role Overview
Lead the Valve Testing and Calibration division for a third-party service provider in Qatar.
Oversee valve testing, overhauling, maintenance, equipment calibration, workshop performance, standards compliance, and business growth in the Oil and Gas sector.
The role combines strong technical authority with commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead testing and overhauling of control, mechanical, pressure relief, non-return, pressure safety, and other process plant valves.
- Manage valve overhauling and workshop operations.
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client specifications.
- Act as technical focal point for clients and operators.
- Review RFQs, support proposal preparation, and pursue shutdown, turnaround, and long-term service contract opportunities.
- Build and mentor a high-performance technical team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of Oil and Gas experience.
- Strong background in valve testing and workshop operations.
- Middle East experience is required.
- Qatar experience is preferred.
