Role overview
NTT DATA is seeking a Lead Data Migration Engineer for its Data and AI practice.
The role focuses on end-to-end migration pipelines from legacy data warehouses to AWS-based Data Lakehouse platforms.
The successful candidate will deliver secure, scalable, high-performing migration solutions with strong testing and validation.
Client engagement and delivery
- Work as a senior engineer within complex data migration and transformation programmes.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders on migration strategies and technical solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and execution of migration deliverables.
Data migration engineering
- Design, build, and optimize migration pipelines using AWS Glue, Python or PySpark, SQL, and YAML configurations.
- Implement bulk migrations followed by incremental or delta loads.
- Support pipeline repointing and replatforming to target cloud architectures.
Testing and validation
