AddedEducation is seeking a Lead Counselor Sports to mentor and guide student athletes, manage coach communication, and negotiate scholarship offers. The role involves college career planning, client engagement, and staying current with admissions trends.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients, counselors, and research analysts to provide support for client requirements and priorities
- Mentor, guide and coach athletes to help them identify the right fit university, specialization, and career
- Ideate, execute, and course correct the client engagement strategy
- Educate students and parents about colleges, the college admissions process, trends, procedures, and testing
- Advise students and families on curricular choices leading to college admissions for different educational systems
- Brainstorm with clients and their families for student profile building
- Lead and manage coach communication to develop and maintain relations with coaches at various universities
- Advise clients on tournament and summer scheduling
- Negotiate scholarship offers on behalf of the client with university coaches/admissions departments
- Make informational presentations to parents and other audiences through 1 1 conversations, webinars, discussion forums
- Stay aware of issues and trends in college admission, higher education, testing, and keep up to date about specific colleges
- Maintain and disseminate information about standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, and TOEFL
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a reputed university (preferably from the US)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for sports and education and mentoring young athletes/students
- Strong organizational ability and result oriented mindset
- Project Management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines
- Experience in college admissions or high school college counseling is a major plus
- Knowledge of global universities, their academic programs, admission policies, and financial policies

About the Role
- AddedEducation provides services for students and student athletes in pursuit of tertiary education opportunities. Based in Singapore with global operations.
- We are looking for a highly strategic and creative storyteller to architect, lead, and execute AddedEducation’s global content engine.
Responsibilities
