Overview

The SaaS industry is advancing at speed, yet conventional SaaSOps teams continue to fall behind, depending on manual workflows and reactive firefighting rather than proactive, AI-powered automation.

Organizations are hemorrhaging millions through inefficient cloud operations, experiencing preventable outages, and lacking the scalability needed to fuel ambitious expansion.

Trilogy is charting a different course—acquiring no fewer than one SaaS company each month and fully committing to AI transformation to establish the most sophisticated, automated SaaS Ops capability in the sector.

Trilogy manages a portfolio of SaaS enterprises, each featuring distinct architecture, customer bases, and operational complexities.

Rather than viewing SaaS Ops as an overhead expense, we recognize it as a strategic differentiator.

We are constructing an elite, AI-enhanced SaaS Ops function engineered to maximize availability, streamline workflows, and optimize cloud expenditure across dozens of solutions.

This represents an opportunity to architect and implement SaaS Ops strategy at scale, utilizing automation, AI, and premier operational frameworks to establish a new benchmark for the industry.

This is not a traditional IT infrastructure or systems management position.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who has constructed and owned SaaS Ops within a SaaS organization, not merely participated as a team member.

The right candidate is a technical authority first, a leader second—someone who excels at architecting scalable infrastructure, deploying automation, and executing high-impact operational decisions.

You will own the responsibility for architecting the future of SaaS Ops across a varied portfolio of SaaS businesses, guaranteeing frictionless product integrations, and deploying AI to build an automated, exceptionally efficient operations platform.

You will collaborate with world-class colleagues across Engineering, Product, and C-Suite leadership to develop and deliver this vision.

If you possess strong convictions about how SaaS Ops should function, thrive on the challenge of optimizing multi-product ecosystems, and are driven to operate at the forefront of AI-enabled operations, this role is designed for you.

Apply now to claim ownership of a career-defining opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Architect and deploy best-in-class SaaS Ops strategies grounded in deep expertise and firm convictions regarding operational excellence
  • Drive critical decisions on operational standards, AI tooling, and process architecture to guarantee reliability, security, and cost optimization across the portfolio
  • Develop and refine a framework for integrating newly acquired SaaS products into a unified SaaS Ops function with zero operational friction
  • Optimize the deployment of AI-powered tools for automation, cost reduction, and operational performance

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Supervising the manual drudgery and repetitive work of conventional SaaS Ops; your mandate will be automation and AI-powered innovation
  • Running operations for a single product; you will be navigating complexity across hundreds of products within our SaaS portfolio
  • Accepting the status quo; you will be tasked with disrupting and transforming operations using AI technologies

Lead Cloud Architect Key Responsibilities

  • Own a highly efficient, AI-powered SaaS Ops function that delivers exceptional reliability, cost optimization, and seamless operations for an expanding portfolio of acquired SaaS businesses

Basic Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and owning SaaS Ops supporting enterprise customers
  • Experience owning SaaS Ops and leading major cloud migrations at an SME with enterprise customers
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to SaaS operations
  • Advanced AWS and DevOps skills (including Docker and Kubernetes)
