- The role is based at NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
Role overview
Supports the Housekeeping Department by ensuring hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented to hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Sorts, washes, dries, presses, folds, and prepares hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Operates laundry machines and equipment safely according to established procedures.
- Inspects items for stains, damage, and special cleaning requirements.
- Processes guest laundry accurately and returns it within the required timeframe.
- Maintains cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area and equipment.
- Handles detergents and chemicals safely according to health and safety procedures.
- Protects hotel linen and uniforms from damage and wastage.
- Reports equipment faults, damaged linen, and other concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Follows hotel hygiene, safety, environmental, and brand standards.
- Supports the Housekeeping team as required for efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
