- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscape construction complies with approved plans and specifications
- Verify that grading, planting, irrigation, and other landscape elements are installed correctly
- Ensure all landscape installations adhere to local codes, zoning regulations, and environmental ordinances
- Review and analyze landscape plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Monitor the quality of materials used in landscape construction and address deviations from approved plans
- Collaborate with inspectors, contractors, landscape architects, and project managers to address issues
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photos, reports, and non compliance issues
- Stay informed about changes in landscape design standards, construction techniques, and regulations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Landscape, Irrigation, Horticulture, Agriculture or related course)
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Construction Supervision of landscape and/or irrigation works
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Inspector to join our team! In this role you will get to ensure that landscape projects comply with design specifications, regulations and environmental standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that landscape construction is progressing according to approved plans and specifications.
- Verify that grading, planting, irrigation, and other landscape elements are installed correctly and in compliance with the design.
- Ensure that all landscape installations adhere to local codes, zoning regulations and environmental ordinances.
- Review and analyze landscape plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Monitor the quality of materials used in landscape construction as well as identify and address any deviations from the approved plans or specifications.
- Collaborate with other inspectors, contractors, landscape architects, and project managers to address issues and ensure smooth project progression.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photos, reports and any non compliance issues.
- Stay informed about changes in landscape design standards, construction techniques, and relevant regulations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Landscape, Irrigation, Horticulture, Agriculture or related course).
