Landscape Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities in landscaping, horticulture, construction, and maintenance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, proposals, and technical submissions for landscape projects.
• Coordinate and supervise landscape construction and horticulture works.
• Manage softscape, hardscape, planting, irrigation, and external works.
• Select and manage plants, trees, shrubs, turf, and other horticultural materials.
• Supervise maintenance activities including pruning, fertilization, irrigation, pest control, and plant health.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, costs, and timelines.
• Identify technical issues on site and provide suitable solutions.
• Support client meetings, site visits, tendering, negotiations, progress reporting, and documentation.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in business development, landscape construction, and maintenance.
• Ability to prepare quotations, BOQs, proposals, and technical submissions.
• Experience coordinating and supervising landscape construction and horticulture works.
• Ability to manage softscape, hardscape, planting, irrigation, and external works.
• Ability to supervise landscape maintenance activities and address plant health needs.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Work Setting

• The work includes landscape construction, maintenance, site inspections, site visits, and other physical project-site activities.
