- Meet with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget for the project
- Conduct thorough site analysis to assess existing conditions such as topography, soil quality, drainage patterns, vegetation, climate, and surrounding structures
- Develop initial design concepts that integrate the client's needs with the site's characteristics
- Refine design concepts into detailed plans and specifications
- Select plant species and materials that are appropriate for the site's conditions and promote biodiversity
- Ensure that the design meets local zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental laws
- Collaborate with contractors during the construction phase to ensure that the design is implemented according to specifications
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Develop maintenance plans and guidelines to preserve the integrity and aesthetics of the landscaped areas
- Stay informed about developments in landscape architecture, sustainable design practices, and technological advancements
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
- Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure as a landscape architect
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of horticulture, ecology, and construction techniques
- Experience with project management and construction administration is desirable
- Can join immediately
- 3 to 5 years experience on the same field

Overview
- As a landscape architect, you'll work on a variety of projects ranging from residential gardens to public parks, commercial developments, urban spaces, and industrial sites.
- You'll collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other professionals to design outdoor spaces that meet the needs and desires of users while considering environmental impact and regulatory requirements.
