The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and increased engagement activities across regional Victoria, we are seeking a Land Engagement Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of stakeholder and landholder engagement, supporting the development of critical energy infrastructure that will help power Victoria's future.
In this role, you will play a key part in building positive relationships with landholders, communities and stakeholders while facilitating property access and engagement activities.
Reporting to the Land Access & Engagement Lead, you will work closely with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to coordinate access requirements, respond to enquiries and support land access and easement activities.
Success in this role will come from your ability to communicate effectively, build trust, manage competing priorities and deliver a positive experience for stakeholders throughout their engagement journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landholders, occupiers, community members and regional stakeholders.
- Coordinate property access activities for surveys, investigations, environmental studies and other field-based works.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries and assist in resolving landholder concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Support land access and easement activities through engagement coordination, correspondence and agreement administration.
- Maintain accurate stakeholder records, engagement databases and reporting information.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, property coordination or a similar field-based role
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and professional approach, with demonstrated problem-solving skills and a willingness to travel throughout regional Victoria.
