ALS Environmental is seeking to employ a full-time Laboratory Technician in the chemistry department at our laboratory based in Kirwan , Townsville .
The successful applicant will receive on-the-job training in a wide variety of technical processes, techniques and quality procedures associated with working within a modern analytical laboratory.
To be successful, you will have:
Genuine interest in science with either University or TAFE qualifications
High level of attention to detail, good communication and organisational skills
Understanding of good laboratory practices
A high level of computer literacy
Ability to work well in a team environment
Great time management
A demonstrated interest or personal hobby in areas such as computer buildin g, circuitry, automation, excel macros, scripting or 3D printing
Coding or programming capability
Exposure to or interest in robotics, AI, process automation or digital optimisation
