Job Overview

  • Paragon Restaurant Group is a culinary leader with over 40 outlets across Southern India and the Middle East.
  • We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our Facilities Management team in Dubai.
  • This full time, on site role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and longevity of commercial kitchen equipment across our restaurant outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment across multiple restaurant outlets.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in gas, electrical, and mechanical kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain equipment including ovens, combi ovens, fryers, grills, salamanders, bain maries, hot plates, shawarma machines, rice cookers, steamers, dishwashers, food preparation equipment, mixers, slicers, and refrigeration support equipment.
  • Inspect kitchen equipment regularly and recommend preventive actions to improve reliability and service life.
  • Install, test, commission, and relocate commercial kitchen equipment when required.
  • Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and external service providers for specialized repairs and warranty support.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts usage.
  • Assist with equipment snagging, testing, and commissioning for new restaurant projects.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company standards.

What We Need from You

  • ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial gas, electrical, and mechanical kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment efficiently with minimal downtime.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and equipment safety standards.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A driving licence is an advantage.
