Responsibilities
- Attend daily briefing
- Perform major and/or minor repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment including hot cooking and refrigeration equipment as well as laundry equipment
- Follow routine preventive and corrective maintenance task activity of kitchen and laundry equipment
- Ensure all kitchen and laundry equipment are in proper and good working condition
- Coordinate and prioritize repair tasks to respond in a timely manner
- Implement task activity in restaurant, back of house, kitchen, and laundry areas
- Handle routine checklist for overall kitchen compliance with HACCP and hygiene standards
- Maintain all lighting in laundry and kitchen area
- Update daily performance and follow up in Log Book
- Assist other sections or technicians as needed
- Order and maintain inventory of equipment spare parts
- Attend new equipment training and train team members on safe use
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- 2 years work experience as Kitchen Technician
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus

Position Purpose
- The Kitchen and refrigeration technician is responsible for the maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment and related appliances in the hotel.
Essential Functions
- Attend daily briefing.
- Perform major and/or minor repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment including hot cooking and refrigeration equipment as well Laundry equipment.
- Follow the routine Preventive& corrective Maintenance task activity of kitchen & laundry equipment.
- Make sure all kitchen & laundry equipment in proper and in good working condition.
- Responsible for coordination and prioritizing repair tasks.
- Implement the task activity in Restaurant, Back of House, Kitchen and Laundry equipment.
- Handle the routine checklist for overall kitchen compliance with HACCP and hygiene standards.
- Maintain all lighting in laundry & kitchen area.

- Assist to others section or technician.
- Assist Duty Engineer to re stock the daily consumable material.
- Order and maintain inventory of equipment spare parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
- 2 years work experience as Kitchen Technician.
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
