The employer is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Kitchen Steward.
The role is responsible for cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the kitchen and related areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Follow daily cleaning and sanitation checklists.
- Handle and store kitchen utensils and equipment properly.
- Use cleaning chemicals and materials safely and correctly.
- Assist with washing and cleaning kitchenware and equipment.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
- Support the kitchen team with assigned stewarding duties.
Requirements
- Previous Kitchen Steward experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment is required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills are required.
- Reliability, a hardworking attitude, and willingness to work flexible shifts are required.
- Availability is required daily from 24 to 28 August 2026 for five days.
