The Kitchen Steward supports kitchen and food and beverage operations at City Palace Hotel.

Kitchen Steward Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, floors, sinks, work surfaces, and storage areas.
- Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely.
- Ensure utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Collect, separate, and dispose of waste according to hygiene procedures.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks.
- Organize cleaning materials and supplies.
- Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and shortages of cleaning supplies.
- Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen hygiene and sanitation procedures is required.
- The candidate must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- The candidate must be able to lift and move kitchen equipment and supplies.
- Good teamwork and communication skills are required.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a hardworking approach are required.
- The candidate must be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- The candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
