Job Description

  • Kitchen Manager Role Purpose: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, hygiene compliance, team supervision, and efficient production across cloud kitchen and catering activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure food quality, taste consistency, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained at all times.
  • Oversee catering and bulk production orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure productivity, discipline, and compliance with SOPs.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance.
  • Monitor kitchen inventory, reduce waste, control food cost, and coordinate stock requirements with procurement/store teams.
  • Plan kitchen production schedules based on business demand, catering orders, and delivery operations.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and operational.
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and other departments to support smooth kitchen workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong chef background with hands on culinary knowledge.
  • Experience in catering, bulk production, or cloud kitchen operations.
  • Ability to manage kitchen teams in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food quality standards, hygiene, and kitchen operations.

Preferred Experience

  • 4–6 years of kitchen experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or kitchen management role.
  • Experience in cloud kitchens, catering companies, central kitchens, or high volume food service operations.
  • Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen management experience preferred.
