Kitchen Crew (Fast-Food Restaurant Experience)

About the Role

Food Preparation and Kitchen Operations

• Prepare and assemble food according to standard recipes and procedures.
• Maintain food preparation, hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation standards at the assigned station.
• Follow Clean As You Go and FIFO procedures.
• Maintain ready-to-serve food, side items, and condiment stock.
• Perform opening and closing duties, safely operate equipment, and promptly report breakdowns or malfunctions.

Customer Service and Order Handling

• Greet customers positively and respond to inquiries politely and professionally.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Release and serve orders accurately and completely.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and report complaints to the manager without delay.

Cashiering and Sales

• Perform cashiering duties according to restaurant procedures.
• Handle cash accurately and follow cash-handling policies.
• Promote menu items and promotions through upselling and suggestive selling.
• Thank customers and encourage repeat business.

Cleanliness and Teamwork

• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, counter, dining area, and surrounding areas.
• Use correct cleaning materials and procedures.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow company policies regarding uniforms, accommodation, workplace conduct, and professional relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous fast-food restaurant, QSR, or similar F&B experience is preferred.
• Food preparation, kitchen operations, customer service, or cashiering experience is an advantage.
• Have a basic understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Have good customer service and communication skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions, procedures, and food preparation standards.
• Be a positive, professional team player willing to learn through training and hands-on experience.
• Be willing to work rotational shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Work Environment

• Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with regular interaction with customers and team members.
• Stand and move for extended periods during shifts.
• Work across different restaurant stations depending on operational requirements.

Pay

• Pay is up to AED 2,200 per month.
