About the Role
VIVA is seeking a Junior Product Manager for the Non Edible Category to support product documentation, private label development, sample coordination, and market research. The role involves tracking product performance, competitor monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain complete product documentation for new and existing lines
- Support end to end private label development across non edible categories
- Manage sample requests, follow ups, and testing cycles with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Track product performance across sales, margin, quality issues, and aging stock
- Monitor category trends, new launches, and consumer shifts across non edible categories
- Conduct regular price checks and competitor assortment reviews across key retailers
Requirements
- Solid understanding of non edible categories including product attributes, suppliers, and pricing dynamics
- Working knowledge of the private label development cycle
- Strong Excel skills; ability to build clear, accurate reports on sales, margin, performance, and stock health
- Ability to conduct structured price checks, competitor assortment reviews, and trend analysis
- Comfortable with cost breakdowns, margin calculations, pricing structures, and promotion mechanics
- Maintains complete, accurate, and audit ready product documentation and trackers

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain complete product documentation for new and existing lines.
- Support end to end PL development across non edible categories.
- Manage sample requests, follow ups and testing cycles with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Track product performance across sales, margin, quality issues and aging stock.
- Monitor category trends, new launches and consumer shifts across non edible categories.
- Conduct regular price checks and competitor assortment reviews across key retailers.
- Recommend and coordinate line selection for leaflets and promotions.
- Maintain and update the new products pipeline.
- Flag slow moving and aging stock early.
- Work closely with supply chain, quality, marketing and store operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of non edible categories.
- Working knowledge of the PL development cycle.
- Strong Excel skills; builds clear, accurate reports.
