Role Overview
Support the development and execution of merchandise plans for a luxury e-commerce business.
Use data and commercial insights to drive sales, margin, sell-through, and healthy inventory levels.
Work across the planning cycle from seasonal and financial planning through forecasting, allocation, and in-season trading.
Merchandise and Financial Planning
- Develop seasonal and annual merchandise plans using historical performance, customer insights, market trends, and commercial priorities.
- Monitor sales, gross margin, sell-through, and inventory performance.
- Maintain financial plans and forecasts across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
- Support open-to-buy planning and budgeting.
- Reforecast the business as performance and commercial opportunities change.
Assortment and Trading
- Analyze sales, stock, and sell-through performance to identify category, brand, and product trends.
- Develop assortment plans with Buying and Commercial teams based on customer demand and business objectives.
- Monitor replenishment and never-out-of-stock products.
- Review markdown and promotional opportunities and recommend actions.
