Role overview
Equilibrium is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer from the BCIT Computing Co-op program.
The role supports web applications for global mining and natural resources projects.
The developer will work with engineers, hydrogeologists, geologists, and project managers on practical software solutions.
The role provides hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive frontend applications with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Develop backend services and application logic with Node.js and Express.js.
- Build RESTful APIs and maintain MongoDB-backed data workflows.
- Define, develop, test, and deliver features with engineers and project managers.
- Support application performance, reliability, browser compatibility, testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Improve development workflows, tools, architecture, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Enrollment in the BCIT Computing Co-op Program and eligibility for a co-op work term.
- Experience building web applications with React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
