Role overview
Equilibrium is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer from the BCIT Computing Co-op program.
The role supports global mining and natural resources projects through modern web applications and data-driven workflows.
The developer will work with engineers, hydrogeologists, geologists, and project managers on practical software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Develop backend services and application logic using Node.js and Express.js.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and MongoDB data workflows.
- Define, develop, test, and deliver features with engineers and project managers.
- Help maintain application performance, reliability, and browser and device compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and documented code.
- Contribute to testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, workflow improvements, architecture, and engineering practices.
- Investigate technical issues and develop practical solutions with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidate requirements
- Enrollment in the BCIT Computing Co-op Program and eligibility for a co-op work term are required.
