Junior Engineer-Facilities Management

We are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer-Facilities Management to join our Total Facilities Management team in Dubai.

Scope: The Junior Engineer plays a key role in supporting MEP operations across multiple sites or large facilities.

This role involves coordinating with Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Technicians to ensure smooth service delivery.

The Junior Engineer works closely with the AFM/FM to maintain technical standards, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement in day-to-day operations.

Assist in managing daily MEP tasks and support technicians across various disciplines.

Review and follow up on work orders using CAFM systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Help identify recurring issues and support in finding practical solutions.

Coordinate with vendors and OEMs during maintenance, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.

Follow established procedures and standards for MEP operations.

Support in executing small-scale projects and system upgrades.

Monitor basic performance indicators and report any concerns to senior staff.

Communicate with internal teams and external partners as needed.

Participate in improvement initiatives and learn about new technologies.

Help manage service providers and ensure maintenance tasks are completed as per contract.

Assist in preparing proposals for additional work and coordinating with procurement.

Ensure compliance with local regulations (DEWA, Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.).

Review safety documents and maintenance procedures under guidance.

Learn and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques from senior staff.

Track progress of assigned tasks and report completion status.

Support in preparing technical reports and asset condition summaries.

Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and consumables.

Assist in budget tracking and resource planning with the engineering team.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of LV electrical systems, HVAC (chilled water and DX), and plumbing setups.
