The Role

Support data operations for a regional infrastructure development firm managing information from construction sites, financial offices, and vendors.

Trace, verify, and document business data workflows in an entry-level, fully remote role.

What You Will Do

  • Audit daily system logs to compare field reports with central database figures.
  • Identify manual data-entry points that create reporting errors or delays.
  • Maintain documentation for new and existing operational processes.
  • Cross-reference departmental datasets and flag inconsistencies for senior analysts.
  • Test new system logic to verify that information reaches the correct recipient.
  • Clean datasets by removing duplicates and correcting formatting issues.
  • Summarize operational problems and the steps taken to resolve them.
  • Monitor data pipelines after new processes are launched.
  • Organize historical project records for accessibility and accurate categorization.

What We Are Looking For

  • Basic familiarity with Excel, including simple formulas and organizing large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing long reports and records.
  • Ability to explain processes clearly in plain English.
  • Interest in business operations and the role of data in daily decisions.
  • Ability to manage schedules and complete work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to learn unfamiliar software tools through documentation and experimentation.
  • Patience with repetitive tasks and data-quality work.
